Welcome. I'm Kathleen. An herbalist, writer, explorer and mom of two energetic boys. I’ve been practicing herbalism for over a decade, inspired by a deep connection to plants and a passion for Truth and healing.

In 2016, I earned my certification from The Arctos School of Herbal and Botanical Studies in Oregon. During the intensive 9-month program, I gained hands-on experience in wildcrafting with integrity, honoring sustainable practices that respect the land (as well those who lived on the land before us) and began the practice of deep listening. The plants are teachers with much wisdom to share. I am continuously surprised by them.

Today, I live with my husband, two boys (4 and 6), our dog, sheep, and chickens on our land in New Hope, Texas.

About

Approach

As an herbalist, I believe that the medicine we take into our bodies should be as close to the earth as possible—wild, vibrant, and full of life. Whenever I can, I ethically wildcraft my herbs, harvesting only what is abundant and in harmony with the land. I follow the rhythms of the seasons, ensuring that I take just enough to honor the plant’s cycle and leave plenty for wildlife and future growth.

When wildcrafting isn’t an option, I source the freshest organic herbs I can find, supporting small growers who share my respect for the plant world. Herbs are more than ingredients; they are living beings with their own wisdom. Whether I’m crafting a tincture, blending a tea, or teaching others how to use herbs in their daily lives, my goal is always the same—to help people connect with the earth’s natural medicine in a way that is sustainable, respectful, and deeply nourishing.
